Torres (Chile) has acquired 740 ha of Patagonian property to reforest with indigenous Chilean trees to offset its carbon footprint and restore the landscape to its more 'natural state'. The goal to have 30% of each bottle's carbon footprint offset by 2020. It's part of their environmental program called Torres & Earth which also includes: Shift to renewable energy, energy reduction through building design, lighter bottles, hybrid/electric vehicles, water recycling, lighter glass and recycling.
