UK accounts for more than three-quarters of all Prosecco sales in EU, worth EUR 600 M. British drank 2.5 times more than Italian in 2017; 97% of Millennial consume Prosecco in UK. 2014 OVSE reported sales outstripping Champagne at UK largest retailers with sales at Tesco up 50%. According to Vinexpo and IRI, Prosecco is estimated to grow by 13.6% to 34 M 9 L cases by 2020.
