Dissolved oxygen posted a major chemical threat during bulk wine shipping. Defective seals of ISO tanks or permeability of flexitank material can allow oxygen entry that may degrade the wine. Regular checks of seals minimise this risk. Also introduction of new construction materials for “Flexitank” can reduce oxidation.
