At Montes (Chile) they work with different types of bottles (different weights) for different markets. They try to keep weight down (for sustainability reasons), but certain markets (e.g. USA, Asian markets) demand heavy bottles. Because they work with 100 countries, they divide them into different country groups. E.g. Canada + Nordic countries have set upper weight limit (400gr max).
